DELIVERY & RETURNS

 

Delivery

Please inspect your purchase immediately upon delivery. If there is a problem with your order, contact us at info@uwehome.com within three (3) days of receipt. If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, we will work with you to make things right.

PostNL (formerly TNT Post) takes care of all our deliveries. If you place your order with uwehome.com on workdays you’ll receive the product within four (4) days, if your order needs to be delivered in The Netherlands. For all other (European) countries you’ll receive your package within 7 days. You can take delivery of the package yourself, the delivery man will then ask you to sign an acknowledgement of receipt. Packages are delivered from Monday to Saturday inclusive. If you place an order during the weekend, it may take a day longer to receive it.

Track & Trace
When you order, we will send you a Track&Trace code which enables you to track your order. To find out exactly when your package will arrive, use this code to log in via the following link: www.postnl.nl/ontvangen

Delivery times
PostNL delivers from Monday to Friday inclusive, between 8.30 am and 9.30 pm. On Saturdays they deliver between 8.30 am and 5 pm.

Not at home
If you’re not at home when PostNL (or its international postal partner) comes to deliver your package, the delivery man will offer your order the next day. If you are not at at home to receive your order the second time, the package will be delivered at the nearest post office.

Delivery costs
At Uwe you pay € 5,80 delivery costs for deliveries within the Netherlands.

International
Uwe is pleased to offer international shipping to any destination worldwide. Our info@uwehome.com mailadres is standing by to assist you with bringing your order home or delivering it to loved ones anywhere around the globe.Please note that shipments outside the EU may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Please contact your respective customs office for further information about specific duties and taxes for your country. In addition, we are required by law to disclose the full value of package contents and cannot alter the value of your invoice or receipt.

RETURNS

You always have 14 days in which to exchange or return the items you ordered via Uwe Home. Once we’ve received your package, we’ll refund the purchase price to you within 14 days after dissolution. N.B.: items must be in their original packaging with their price tags attached, and not have been worn or damaged in any way.

For reasons of hygiene, swimwear, lingerie and accessories can’t be returned.

Return by mail
If you suddenly realise you’ve ordered the wrong size then you can return your order. To do this, you need to send us a message via info@uwehome.com. Clearly mention your order number and the item number. 

Make sure your package has sufficient postage when you return it! We’ll credit the amount, less delivery costs, to your bank account within 14 days after dissolution of its receipt. 

We don’t pay cash for returned items. We’ll credit the amount to your bank account within 14 days after dissolution.

CHANGING OR CANCELLING AN ORDER

To cancel a recent order please contact our via email: info@uwehome.com. We will make every effort to accommodate your request. Our system is designed to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. As such, we are unable to cancel or change requests once the order has entered the shipping process.

 

PAYMENTS


How can I pay?
Uwehome.com accepts several methods of payment:

–       iDEAL (the Netherlands)

–       PayPal (the Netherlands and international)

–       credit card (VISA, MasterCard)

Once payment has been made, you’ll be guided back to our webshop. When you pay by iDEAL, PayPal or credit card, we can see straight away whether the payment has been successful and will immediately start processing your order.   

iDEAL
iDEAL is a safe and easy way for you to pay online, using your own bank pass and your bank’s secure website. If you decide to pay via iDEal, you don’t need to register or download anything, or even set up an account. If you’re registered for internet banking with ABN AMRO, ASN Bank, Friesland Bank, ING, Rabobank, RegioBank, SNS Bank, Triodos Bank or van Lanschot Bankiers, then you can pay directly with iDeal. It’s easy, safe and quick. 

PayPal
PayPal is another safe and quick way to pay. A PayPal account is like a digital wallet which stores payment options such as your bank account or credit card. The advantage is that you only need to fill in your details once and can then make payments using your email address and personal password. 

Credit card
Uwe accepts payments with the most popular credit cards, such as VISA and MasterCard. You fill in your credit card details via our secure SSL procedure, and we then liaise with the credit card company to finalise the transaction. Your credit card won’t be charged until your package has been delivered.
